dpdp-cookie-scanner

For developers and technical founders. This open-source package observes what a live page collects and maps each observation to the DPDP Act and the DPDP Rules by how settled the law is.

Install

npx --package=dpdp-cookie-scanner dpdp-cookie-scan <url>

The same package includes the dpdp-notice-lint command, which checks a privacy notice against DPDP Rule 3. It is not a separate tool.

This scan reports how settled the law is for each finding. It is not legal advice, it is not reviewed by counsel, and it does not say that a site is or is not compliant. A signed position comes from a Sentinel assessment.
